Fatih Terim postpones his squad announcement

Today was supposed to be the day that Turkey coach, Fatih Terim was to reveal his final squad list for the European championship. However he has decided to postpone his announcement for one final day.

Why?

My guess is that he has decided to leave Hakan Sukur out of the squad. Since Hakan and Galatasaray are going to play their final league match tomorrow which might determine the championship in Turkey, if Hakan learned that he would not be called up, his morale would be crushed and he would not be able to play as well tomorrow.

According to the daily newspaper Vatan, Terim has decided not to call up Hakan after a long time thinking about this decision.
