First of all, Turkey is a part of UEFA organization just like Israel, Russia, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan. I guess Porchetta is sorry for Italian national team and posts non-sense comments about the origin of Turkish people. I’ve many Turkish friends who have blue/green eyes and who are blonde. Being brunette, black or blonde is just about the place where you live. Turkey is mediterrean country just like Italy, Spain, Greece etc. If you compare the players of Spain, Italy Turkey and Greece, you see that they all look just the same because of living in a mediterrean country. Turkey is the part of the Europe just like Italy. Think about Xavi or Villa and Nihat Kahveci or Arda Turan. Can a person who knows nothing about these players find a difference between them? Can he identify that Villa is spanish and Turan is Turkish? I don’t see any difference.
Besides that being jealous of Turkey will not affect the success of Turkey. Admit it, they are the most exciting team in the tournament WHERE ITALY IS KNOCKED OUT. Instead of being jealous of the success of Turkey, just analyze where Italy did wrong.
Whether Turks win or lose in the semi-finals,they will be remembered as the comeback kings or buzzer-beaters of this tournament. They don’t play catenaccio football, they just want to offense and score. That’s what Turks did during this tournament. I hope Russia and Turkey play the final.

2 sanırım hayatın boyunca türkiyeden çıkmamışsın veya en fazla avrupaya gitmişsin ama avrupa ülkeleri, abd ve kanada dışında bizden doğru düzgün vize isteyen (veya vize için taklatmanı isteyen) bi ülke yok bunlara japonya güney kore brezilya gibi ülkelerde dahil. ayrıca avrupa birliği üyeleri arasında süper bir çifte standart ile vize istenen tek ülkeyiz ve dünyanın geri kalanı hadi gelin beraber anayasa yapıcaz tek ülke gibi olucaz herkes biribirini tanısın sınırları aşalım dememesine rağmen bunu yapabiliyo.
3 iki seneden daha uzunca bir süredir uluslar arası bir şirkette (şantiye şefi olarak çalışıyorum ve beraber çalıştığımız arkadaşlar genelde alman ve ispanyol) çalışıyorum ve avrupalıların ciğerinin baktığı yeri gayet net biliyorum. bu adamlara “kavga istiyosan edelim ama gerek yok demedikçe” tepene çıkarlar. ben bunu yaşayarak biliyorum. adamlar 1000 yıldır bizim avrupada olduğumuz gerçeğine alışamıyorlar.
4 biz genetik ve kültürel anlamda avrupalı değiliz bariz olarak farklıyız. anadoluda 7000 yıldır yaşayan tüm kavimlerin gelenekleri var üzerimizde. asyalıların ortaduğuluların gelenekleri hala anadoluda yaşamkta… ister aptalca gelsin ister saçma ama anadolu tekbaşına avrupanın tamamı kadar kültürü barınırır ve bunu ben söylemem berkley üniversitesinin saygın tarihçileri söyler.
5 siz malüm yerinize vizesiz gidebiliyorsanız oralarda dolaşın, ben hatalı gramer ile yazılmış, tartlımamış, düşünülmemiş, kötü kokulu milliyetçi bir mesaj atar size bundan sonraki maçların sonucu bildiririm.

I also have a couple words for Porchetta,

Leave the racist views especially if you have as much knowledge about Turkey as a 5 years old boy. I want to give some anecdotes from history.

1. Ottoman Empire was very huge, more than you can imagine, at the end of 1500’s, it was an empire from Central Europe(up to Vienna) to Caspian Sea, from Crimean to Egypt.(Hope you know these places) So, people who are, Hungarian, Greek, Armenian, Macedonian, Russian, Arab, Kurd, Turk etc. lived together for hundreds of years. You cannot imagine how many European people(European for your point of view) has ancestors who are Turks. Also Turks cannot imagine how many European or Arab ancestors they have.

2. By reading entries written before you can learn where Turks came from. Yet, you also have to know that Hungarian people also came from Asia as it can be understood from the name “Hun”gary. This migration happened 1000years ago at the same time with Turks.

3. I might understand if a northern guy (maybe Finnish, Swedish) told something like that, yet you are a mediterranian as like Portugese, Spanish, Greek and Turkish people. Maybe you are blonde but you should be aware that usually Italian, Greek, Spanish people and Turks are not blonde. That is because of the weather conditions, about being
mediterranian.

4. From now on I personally advice you to speak only football. And do not forget Italian people living in Napoli supported Argentina against Italy in the world cup because of you and people who have the same racist, facist mentality like you. you even do not accept Southern people in Italy are real Italians.

I have observed a few Italians when I met and they always had a prejudice on us Turks. Maybe “mamma li turchi” is an idiom that they always carry with them.. I am a Turkish with blonde hair blue eyes and an extremely white skin, all of my family has light skin and colored eyes but we are still Turks. In fact, my grandad is the whitest person I have ever seen and contriversionally he comes from saudia arabia. Well he is Turksih since his parents where there during Ottoman era but still. Not all Turkish are Arabs. All ignorant Europeans must learn this. We live quite differently than Arabs that I am sure you never really have seen but only know from their depictions on TV. Also not everybody in Turkey is muslim. There lots of christians, jews etc. Gepgraphically, part of turkey is in europe which makes it more eligible to compete in EURO 2008 than azerbeijan or armenia and equally eligible with Russia who are also in the semi-finals. I have been to many places in Europe and always have seen the arrogance of European people especially French and Italian people. Claiming they are more elite by “being more educated”, I have seen too much Europeans who dont know English. So stop being so pompous face the facts and you might one day be able to cease thinking like an idiot and start being a regular person who are actually very few in the EU.
And for EURO 2008, I dont see a reason to discuss why Turkey is in the competition but I can discuss why Italian started to discuss this when we advanced to the semis and they got kicked out by the spanish. Well I dont actually care because I am going to watch at least a semi final this year while you will be eating your pasta at home..

First of all, we are in Europe. When you look at a map, most probably you see a part of Turkey at the south east corner of a Europe map. Of course we are not European but why dont you ask that Armenia, Azerbaijan, ISRAEL(?) also play in UEFA? Turkey is in UEFA this is normal, bucause we are in Europe, but why the hell do these 3 countries, especially Israel play in UEFA????
