Well, as you predicted Portugal has won the match. We played better, no doubt (portugal).
I think turkey played the game for the null, they just didnt want to take chances in attack. Maybe next games you will play better, and maybe show whats turkey real value.

I think if Turkey are do anything useful in this tournament, the key man is Nihat Kahveci. The defence isn’t the greatest, and Turkey will have to score more than they concede, because a clean sheet is virtually out of the picture.

I wish I had your confidence, Musab. I picked Portugal and Czech to advance– but if I’m wrong, I won’t be hurt at all! I have a good feeling going into tomorrow’s game, and I think we will get at least one point off Portugal. On the bright side, this is my first chance to watch Turkish football since the World Cup semifinal against Brazil in 2002, so win or lose, I have that.

So is Volkan really starting in goal? I had the irrational hope it would be Rustu once again, to work more of his miracles.
